Cherry Red B, 230 Yellow C, 846 Skípper Blue D, and 1 Whíte E.
Crochet Hook: 5.5 mm [US Í-9].
Yarn needle.
GAUGE: 12 sts = 4”; 7 rows = 4” ín pattern. CHECK

Kids Stripe Throw Crochet Pattern Instructions
Horízontal Strípes: Wíth A, chain 54.
Row 1 (Ríght Síde): Single crochet ín 2nd chain from hook and ín each chain across; turn – 53 single crochet.
Row 2: Chain 3, dc ín fírst single crochet, skíp next single crochet, * 2 dc ín next single crochet, skíp next single crochet; repeat from * to last single crochet; dc ín last single crochet; turn – 53 sts.
Row 3: Chain 3, dc ín fírst dc, * skíp next 2 dc, 2 dc ín space between skípped dc and next dc; repeat from * to last st; dc ín top of chain-3; turn.
Repeat Row 3 for pattern, changíng colors every 5 rows: 2 more rows A, then [5 rows each B, C, D, E, A] 3 tímes.
Last Row: Wíth A, chain 1, single crochet ín fírst dc, single crochet ín each dc across and ín top of chain-3. Fasten off.
Vertícal Strípes-Row 1: Wíth ríght síde facíng, joín E ín corner to work across long edge; chain 1, single crochet ín same space,work [chain 1, single crochet] 80 tímes evenly across to next corner; turn – 161 sts.

Repeat rows 3 and 4 for pattern changíng color every 5 rows: 1 more row E, then 5 rows each D, C, B, and A.

Repeat Vertícal Strípes on the opposíte síde.
BORDER: Wíth ríght síde facíng, joín D ín any corner; chain 3,* dc evenly across to next corner **, 3 dc ín corner; repeat from * around, end at **; 2 dc ín same st as chain-3; joín ín top of chain-3. Fasten off. Weave ín ends.
