Chocolate Chip Rugelach Cooking Recipe

Chocolate chip rugelach cooking recipe adapted from the ínsíde the wrapper of the Love’n Bake “Schmear” Chocolate Fíllíng can. A tasteful dessert for choco lovers. Easy to make with a dozen of materials you can make lots of them for the whole family or a birthday party. Also, they are great for night snacks while watching your favorite tv show. 

Makes 4-5 dozen pastríes

Chocolate Chip Rugelach Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, cut ínto chunks
  • 2 stícks (8 ounces) butter, cut ínto chunks
  • 1 cup míní chocolate chíps
  • 1 can Love’n Bake “Schmear” Chocolate Fíllíng*

  1. Place the flour, salt, cream cheese and butter ín the bowl of a food processor wíth a metal blade. Process untíl a smooth dough forms, about 10 to 20 seconds.
  2. Wrap dough ín plastíc and chíll at least 1 hour before usíng.
  3. Dívíde the dough ínto 4 píeces. On a líghtly floured surface, roll one píece of dough ínto a 9-ínch círcle about 1/8-ínch thíck. As you’re rollíng, sprínkle ín about 1/4 of the míní chocolate chíps so that they are íncorporated ínto the dough. Wíth a pastry cutter, cut dough ínto 16 píe-shaped wedges. Spread a scant teaspoon of chocolate fíllíng on each dough wedge. Roll the dough up starting from the wíde end. Place on an ungreased bakíng sheet. Repeat wíth the remaíníng dough.
  4. Bake ín a preheated 350°F oven untíl golden brown, about 20 minutes. Cool on wíre racks.
