Babys First Blanket Instructions
With C, chain 5; join with sl st in first chain to form a ring.
Round 1: Chain 3 (counts as first double crochet here and throughout), 2 double crochet in ring, chain 2, (3 double crochet in ring, chain 2) 3 times; join with sl st in top of beginning chain-3 – 4 chain-2 corner sps. Fasten off.
Join B with sl st in beginning corner chain-2 sp of Round 1.
Round 2: Chain 1, *(sc, chain 2, sc) in same corner chain-2 sp,sc in next 3 double crochet; repeat from * around; join with sl st in beginning sc – 20 sc. Fasten off.
Join A with sl st in beginning corner chain-2 sp of Round 2.
Round 3: Chain 3, (double crochet, chain 2, 2 double crochet) in same corner chain-2 sp,(skip next sc, 2 double crochet in next sc) twice, skip next sc, *(2 double crochet, chain 2, 2 double crochet) in next corner chain-2 sp, (skip next sc, 2 double crochet in next sc) twice, skip next sc; repeat from * around; join with sl st in top of beginning chain-3 – 32 double crochet.
