Indi Cable Tank Knitting Pattern Materials
- 4 (5,6) skeins of Indy Silk 100% Silk 100gms/100yds
- Size 10.5 US needle
- Size 15 US needle
- Stitch holder (2)
- Cable needle
Gauge: 8 stitches and 12 rows to 4 inches

Row 1 and all odd rows, purl 2, knit 10, purl 2.
Row 2 and all even rows Knit 2, purl 01, knit 2.
Row 19 purl 2, cf5 (cable 5 stitches front), knit 5, knit 5 from holder, purl 2.
Row 20 same as row 2.
Make Cable. With US 10.5 needles cast on 14 stitches. Repeat Cable pattern rows 1-20 until pieces measures length to circle waist,up front and around neck.
Knitting Pattern Body
With size 15 needles cast on 54 (62,70) stitches.Work in st st until piece measures 7 (8,9) inches. Divide for Underarm Shaping.
Knit 8 (10,12) Bind off 4 stitches, Knit 30 (34,38) stitches,bind of 4 stitches,knit 8 (10,12) stitches. Place left front and right front stitches on needle holders.
Work Back
Continue in st st until piece measures 19.5 (20.5,21.5) inches. Bind off 8 (10,12) shoulder stitches,bind off 14 (18,22) neck stitches. Bind off 8 (10,12) shoulder stitches.

Make 2 reverse shaping.
Work in stitches st for 7 (8,9) inches.
Shape Neck
Decrease 1 sts at neck edge every row 2 times,then every 4th row 3 times. Continue in sts st until piece measures 19.5 (20.5,21.5) inches. Bind off remaining sts.
Block Piece
Join shoulder seams and side seams. Attach cable starting at bottom left front, circle back,right front,up center front,around right neck,back of neck and left neck. Adjust length as necessary.
Join left front edge to cable. Sew in end of cable flaps. Tie in loose ends.
Armhole Finishing.
With size 15 needles and Right Side facing, pick up 2 sts to the inch evenly around armhole opening. Purl 1 row. Bind off and weave in loose ends.
